In cooperation with the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council in the work of the shift/session was attended by teachers and students of the Academy.
More than 420 pupils of "Victoria" were introduced to the "Multimedia tutorial safe use of Internet resources", developed by ONAT named after O.S. Popov, together with the International Telecommunication Union.

Teachers and students of the Academy of Telecommunications told the children about the basic rules of behaviour on the Internet and the dangers that can wait for them there. Young Odessa’s people acquainted with the concept of the "Internet", "Internet threat", methods of safe work on the Internet, learned how to communicate with virtual friends, be careful when visiting various sites, work with e-mail.
In the classes, the teachers introduced to young IT-learners the educational projects of the Academy of Telecommunications in the field of IT for school-children.
Most of the children expressed a great desire to continue the acquaintance with modern technologies. And they will have the opportunity. As part of the educational project «IT-education», «IT-DF», «IT-Lab» these young IT-persons can be trained in IT-classes of schools, the Academy IT-labs, they can be engaged in other studying optional courses, and attend master classes in the directions: programming, robotics and information security.
